White Compliment Slips

Black Compliment Slips

Klutch Business Cards

Some design ideas for a business card. Only problem was that the background didn't fit in with the rest of the Klutch Graphics work such as the letterheads, compliment slips and the dvd so I made one black.

Klutch Pin Badges

3 pin badges with the Klutch logo on. And then I inverted them to make six.

4 Klutch Products

Here are four examples of the Klutch Graphics logo being used on various products.

Klutch Graphics

I chose this one from the four ideas but thought that the inner text should match the the 'K' that its in so I squished it.

Klutch with a 'K'

My first design seemed a bit detailed and over the top for a company logo so I thought of some more simpler designs. I decided to change the 'C' for a 'K' for a bit more originality and a bolder look.

Clutch Graphics

I decided on the name 'Clutch Graphics' and didnt waste time in sketching out my first idea for the logo.

TheThingsWeMake

RayGun

Ray Gun was an American alternative rock-and-roll magazine, first published in 1992 in Santa Monica, California. Led by founding art director David Carson, Ray Gun explored experimental magazine typographic design. The result was a chaotic, abstract style, not always readable, but distinctive in appearance. That tradition for compelling visuals continued even after Carson left the magazine after three years; he was followed by a series of art directors, including Robert Hales, Chris Ashworth, Scott Denton-Cardew, and Jerome Curchod.

David Carson

David Carson is an American graphic desgner. He is best known for his innovative magazine design, and use of experimental typography. He was the art director for the magazine Ray Gun. Carson was perhaps the most influential graphic designer of the nineties. In particular, his widely-imitated aesthetic defined the so-called "grunge" era.

3rd Typography Poster

Using both previous stationery-typography designs I lay them over an image of crinkled paper found on the web and blended the text letters together using Photoshop. The other bits of text in the bottom-right was added on Illustrator.

2nd Typography Poster

I cut parts out of the Sugar Typography shown earlier on my blog and created my initials. I then added text about how it was made using illustrator.

1st Typography Poster

I took a picture of some of my own materials put together on a pice of lined paper leaving space for the photograph. I then put the two together on photoshop and added a title.

London Eye Photo + Light Typography

Using the photograph I downloaded from the internet, I added the typography shown earlier on my blog using photoshop and gave it a rippled reflection in the water below.
